RE: Trac Fone Coverage

go to tracfone.com and I think you can see coverage area map. I have had our Tracfone for three years and it works great in most areas where other cell phones work. The service comes with voice mail so if you are out of range and you get a call and they leave you a VM you will get a message beep and symbol when you get back in coverage if you leave your phone on. Your battery will run down faster when you are out of coverage, because the phone is searching for a site. I would recommend you get a flip phone. Regards, Dick
I use a Motorola V170 and purchased a 12v car charger cord, it comes with a 110v charger.

RE: '05 Minnie 26A - Any Experienced?

We love our 2004 29b Minnie, we went from a 2003 24F to the 2004 29b and the longer wheel base on the 29b makes it handle and ride 98% better than the 24F. The 24F was a very rough ride. We always tow our 4100# jeep and we average 7 ½ MPG on either the 24F or the 29b . Check the wheel base on the on the one you are looking at if it is the same as the 24’ wheel base I would go to a longer unit.

Dick

RE: Air Filter - V10 Ford

At 12K is when I change mine. You may want to take it out and blow it out every oil change. Depending on miles driven, If low I change oil twice a year.

RE: Buying our first class C A little help......

I have HWH levelers on my 29' class c and love them. Figure about 3 to 4 K to add them to a class c. In this market he might be happy to get 45K. If you go to pplmotorhomes.com they have used units for sale and most are marked down, they also have a neat feature and list prices of units sold.

Winnebago 29B Shower Doors

Winnebago Minnie/Outlook, Itasca Spirit 29B Shower Doors
I removed our 29B glass sliding shower doors and replaced them with special order folding shower door. The new door was easy to install, less than 4 hours including caulking. I have the old sliding doors listed on the free classifieds ad in accessories.

RE: Winnebago '99 - '05 roof construction

You are correct about 2003. I think The 400 series Minnie Winnie and Itasca Sundancer had that design earlier.
The most deluxe class C up through 2006 is the Winnebago Minnie Winnie or the Itasca Sundancer. 2006 was the last year for the Minnie Winnie or the Sundancer. A lot of people call the Winnebago Minnie the Minnie Winnie, which is not correct. I think that is why they renamed the Minnie the Outlook in 2006.

RE: Gas mileage with Ford V10

There is a person in the Reno area with his 2004 Class C 29’ V10 Jamboree for sale for $65K and they say it gets 15 MPG. Maybe you should by that one. LOL I have been holding myself back from calling them and saying that is a misleading ad, but I can‘t see someone paying $65K for a 2004 class C. I get on average 7 ½ on my 2004 29’ Minnie towing a 4100 lb Jeep. I only check mileage averages after at least 3000 miles.

RE: Victoria BC in summer 2009

Looks like they were in the same site as us in 2003. Only stayed a few days, it is a nice park, would stay there again. The beach sites are the best. We took a ferry from Vancouver BC area.

Rye Patch is for sun lovers, no shade or hookups. Have not been to Cave Lakes this season, shade there but no hookups like all NV state parks.
